So we gather and edit the very best from our well-traveled, discerning network and share their—and our—hard-won recommendations.
A few things to know about us: we’re less interested in what’s new than in what’s really good. We like to find the old-school gems, the soulful and independent hotels without a huge marketing budget, the family-owned trattoria across the street from the one in all the guides with the long line. We reject the idea that there are just a few select places (where everyone else on Instagram seems to be) that you “have to” visit. Ultimately, we hope sharing our discoveries inspires your own travel confidence—encouraging you to trust and follow your own curiosity to uncover beautiful, worthy, unsung places.

We offer in-store pick up, UPS and USPS Standard delivery.
All furniture is available in store for pick up or delivery within 50 miles by a delivery service. Delivery charges will be calculated at the time of delivery. Call us at 914 296 0122 for more information. All furniture is considered final sale and is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt of your order for shop credit or exchange only. Shop credits will be honored for one year from date of issue. Please contact the shop for approval BEFORE sending items back to us. Items must be returned in unused condition and with original packaging. Make sure that items are well-packed and insured for the full amount. design solutions reserves the right to deny refund or exchange if the merchandise is not received in its original condition. All custom orders, special orders, furniture and sale items are considered final sale and are non-refundable and non- exchangeable. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment to design solutions, as well as shipping costs for exchanged items, are the responsibility of the customer.
